Questions, answered plainly.
What Drawnyard does today, what depends on Yarbo, and how your account and billing work.
General
What is Drawnyard?
Drawnyard is a web app for Yarbo owners. It brings maps, mowing plans, Lawn Art, automation, cameras and history together in your browser, on desktop, tablet or phone.
Is Drawnyard made by Yarbo?
No. Drawnyard is an independent service built for Yarbo owners. It isn't made or endorsed by Yarbo.
How does Drawnyard connect to my Yarbo?
Drawnyard connects through Yarbo's official platform as it becomes available. Yarbo hasn't released a public third-party API yet, so features that need to talk to the robot are marked “Requires Yarbo platform support” and switch on once that access exists. We don't use unofficial workarounds.
What works without a Yarbo connection?
Drawing maps, areas and no-go zones, designing Lawn Art in Pattern Studio, weather-aware planning, your calendar, viewing your own RTSP cameras, and managing properties and shared access all run inside Drawnyard.
Control
Can I start and stop my Yarbo from Drawnyard?
That's the plan. Remote commands like start, pause and return to dock need Yarbo's official platform, so they will be enabled once Yarbo makes that available. Until then, Drawnyard shows these controls as unavailable rather than pretending they work.
Will I always know whether a command worked?
Yes. Drawnyard only reports success when the robot confirms it, and shows connecting, offline and unsupported states plainly.
Maps & Lawn Art
How do I map my lawn?
Draw your boundary on satellite imagery, then add areas and no-go zones such as garden beds, ponds or play sets. You can edit the map any time.
Can my Yarbo mow Lawn Art patterns today?
You can design and preview patterns on your real lawn shape today. Having the robot mow a custom path depends on Yarbo making path execution available to third-party services, which it hasn't yet.
Which patterns can I make?
Pattern Studio starts with stripes, checkerboards and diamonds. Plus includes Pattern Studio and Lawn Art; Pro adds advanced Lawn Art.
Cameras
Which cameras can I add?
Network cameras that provide an RTSP stream, on the Plus and Pro plans. Plan limits for the number of cameras are listed on the pricing page.
Can I see my Yarbo's own cameras?
Not yet. Access to Yarbo's onboard cameras isn't officially available to third-party services. We'll add it if and when Yarbo provides it.
Are camera credentials stored securely?
Camera passwords are encrypted at rest and never sent back to your browser.
Automation
What can automation do?
Rules combine a trigger, conditions and an action, such as skipping a mow when heavy rain is forecast. Rules that act on the robot itself need Yarbo platform support.
Does Drawnyard work with Home Assistant?
Home Assistant integration is part of the Pro plan.
Account
How do I sign in?
With email and password, Google, Apple or Microsoft where available, or a passkey. Two-factor authentication is available in your security settings.
Can I share access with family or staff?
Yes. You can invite people to a property and choose what they're allowed to see and do.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your data, as described in our privacy policy.
Billing
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan covers one property and one Yarbo with no time limit.
How does billing work?
Paid plans are billed monthly in US dollars through our payment provider. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your account.
What happens if I cancel?
Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for. After that, your account returns to the Free plan and its limits.
